We do not sell the Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert. The orchestra allocates its tickets through its own registration draw. The bookable alternatives compared here are separate visitor events: a Palais Ferstel year-end Philharmonic Ensemble concert, a New Year’s Eve dinner gala, and seasonal church concerts. Check the selected event and date carefully.

The Philharmonic New Year’s Concert is not sold here
The Vienna Philharmonic’s official website explains its ticket-registration draw. We link to that information as a source, not as a resale or partner booking. No ticket in this guide entitles you to the orchestra’s New Year’s Concert.
The words New Year, Musikverein or Philharmonic in another product’s name do not make it the same event. Read the performer, date and venue together before choosing a ticket. The alternatives below are different performances, not tickets for the orchestra’s official New Year’s Concert.
Palais Ferstel: concert with one drink
The year-end Philharmonic Ensemble listing is a separate Palais Ferstel concert. Its ticket includes entry and one drink; it does not include a meal. The ensemble must not be described as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
The current product names a specific December date, rather than an open choice of holiday performances. Select the date on the live booking page and confirm it before paying. Check that the selected date is available in the current calendar before booking.
Palais Ferstel: New Year’s Eve dinner gala
The dinner gala is a different, much longer experience. Its current inclusions name a welcome reception, a four-course meal, music and later celebrations. The product describes approximately seven hours and recommends formal evening wear.
The gala’s age guidance is eighteen and over. It is an adult gala evening and a different option from the year-end ensemble recital. Choose it if the whole dinner-and-celebration evening is what you want, then read the full selected terms.
A church concert or regular programme
St Peter’s Christmas and New Year concert is a separately listed seasonal programme. It can be a different style of holiday outing from a formal dinner gala. Select from the actual on-sale dates rather than assuming that every programme runs on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.
Regular Mozart, Strauss and Vivaldi products may offer dates around the holiday, but the live calendar must confirm your specific day. We do not publish a fixed promise that a product runs on the first day of January.
Keep the event identities straight
If you want the Vienna Philharmonic event, use its official allocation information. If you want a visitor concert during a holiday trip, choose the programme, setting and included activities here. These are different decisions, and the guide explains both without substituting one for the other.
Cancellation and rescheduling terms vary. Read the selected performance’s conditions, especially for single-date seasonal events. If these seasonal alternatives are unavailable, explore year-round concerts through the concert hub.
Your Vienna concert questions, answered
Can I buy Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert tickets here?
No. The Vienna Philharmonic allocates its tickets through its own registration draw. Consult its official website for the current process. None of the visitor concerts linked here is that event.
Is the Palais Ferstel Philharmonic Ensemble the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra?
No. It is a separate ensemble concert. The product name must not be taken as a Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra ticket.
Does the year-end ensemble ticket include dinner?
No. The selected product includes concert entry and one drink. A meal is not included. The New Year’s Eve dinner gala is a different listing.
Is the Palais Ferstel gala suitable for children?
The current gala listing’s age guidance is eighteen and over. Do not book it as a family concert.
Are there concerts on New Year’s Day?
Check the live dates for the specific year-round or seasonal product. We do not promise a performance on that day without a confirmed bookable date.
What happens when the seasonal performances go off sale?
Their booking controls and product references are removed. The guide can remain as a planning resource and link to the year-round concert hub, without offering unavailable events.
