Hall concerts at the Musikverein

The Musikverein offers several hall options. The Golden Hall presents a period-costume orchestra playing Mozart and Strauss, while the Brahms Hall provides a more intimate setting with the same programme. A mixed-composer concert of Vivaldi and Mozart runs about two hours. All are pure concert experiences without meals or tours.

Palace concerts and dinner packages

Schönbrunn Palace’s Orangery hosts Mozart and Strauss concerts, either as a stand-alone two-hour programme, with an after-hours palace tour, or combined with a three-course dinner. Combined evening packages add a palace tour, dinner and concert for up to six hours. Palais Auersperg offers a baroque-palace gala concert, with an optional dinner for a three-hour experience.

Chamber music venues

The Haus der Musik presents Viennese classical masters in a one-hour chamber setting. Künstlerhaus (Amadeus Concerts) adds sparkling wine and a post-concert meet-and-greet. Mozarthaus combines a concert with museum entry, while the Sala Terrena concert at Singerstraße 7 offers chamber music without guaranteed museum access. The House of Strauss includes a concert, museum entry, audio guide and sparkling wine.

Church concerts

Vienna’s historic churches host a range of programmes. Karlskirche features Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on period instruments. Capuchin Church presents Mozart and sacred works above the Imperial Crypt. St Stephen’s Cathedral, St Anne’s, St Peter’s and Minoritenkirche each offer classical or seasonal programmes in Gothic or Baroque settings, typically lasting around an hour.
